It’s not something you can fake.
When you meet someone who’s really passionate about their work, you feel it straight away. I’ve heard people say it about me, that when I start talking about gaskets, hoses and all things high purity I just go into ‘the zone’. I got exactly the same vibe when I first met Dave Meadows, the Managing Director of an amazing company called Pushed.
Based in Plymouth, Pushed create wonderful content, with a specialism in animation. To be honest, saying these guys have a specialism in animation is a bit like saying Ronaldo has a specialism in football.
They’re AMAZING at animation.
Go and have a look at their website – you’ll see.
Our big announcement
Now you’ve seen the type of work that they do, you’ll understand why I’m so excited to share our big announcement with you, drumroll please:
Pushed are creating a series of humorous and informative animations about Pure Transfer’s range of gaskets!!
Our aim is to bring our product range to life while demonstrating our own unsurpassed levels of know how and customer service. I can’t say too much more about the project at the moment, as we don’t want to spoil the surprise, but the work-in-progress material I’ve seen so far is AWESOME. Seriously, after watching these animations you’ll all be as mad about gaskets as I am!
How did this all come about?
For a while now, I’ve been working with an award-winning writer called Chris McGuire. Together we’ve been scrutinizing all aspects of messaging around the business, in order to make sure we communicate as clearly as possible with our valued customers. Chris is a words man, but don’t hold that against him.
During the course of our discussions, Chris suggested challenging the notion that gaskets are boring by bringing them to life as characters in eye-catching animations. The idea clicked with me immediately. I could see that imaginatively designed and skillfully animated gasket characters would be a great way to showcase what we do here at Pure Transfer. I could also see that, done the right way, they could be hilarious and work brilliantly on social media.
The perfect team
So we had a writer with a concept and we had yours truly with a passion for high purity hoses and gaskets. All we needed was a company with the level of know-how needed to bring our vision to life. That’s when Chris suggested Pushed. Chris had worked with Dave Meadows and his team in the past and raved about how good they were. I’m pleased to say that, over the last few months, I’ve come to understand that Chris wasn’t exaggerating. When I first met Dave, I could immediately see that he’s as passionate about animation as I am about all things high purity. You don’t come across dedication like that every day! Within minutes, ideas were flying and the project was taking shape.
So, what should you expect?
Over the next few months we’re going to showcase a range of exciting new animations starring our gaskets. Our aim, through this admittedly unconventional approach, is to familiarise people with the world of high purity manufacturing. Don’t worry, these animated shorts are far from dull. Short, snappy and extremely memorable, I’m sure you’ll enjoy our animations as much as I do.
Just the beginning…
Don’t worry, Pure Transfer isn’t going to suddenly forget about high purity and concentrate on making cartoons from now on.
Far from it.
Our mission, to provide superior products, coupled with excellent service from people with unrivaled know-how hasn’t changed. It never will. That said, we never rest on our laurels. We understand the need for constant innovation, that’s why we believe partnering with industry leading companies, like Pushed, will bring something fresh and exciting to our offering.
So, this is just the beginning. When we’re done with gaskets, we’ve got some amazing
ideas about how to bring hoses to life too!
Watch this space. journey.
