Platinum cured silicone vertical orifice plate gaskets easily install in between any ASME BPE or standard tri-clamp, which are the ideal choice for use in production facilities of fine pharmaceutical, biotechnology, high-purity water, injectables, food and beverage products.
Why Choose a Platinum cured silicone orifice plate gaskets?
Due to its smooth finish, platinum cured silicone resists product adhesion. It’s the material of choice in sanitary water systems when PTFE is not feasible due to severely misaligned fittings, or if the cost of high pressure clamps does not outweigh the benefits of PTFE (extended service life).
Tabbed Orifice Plates and clamps are available in sizes from 1/2″ up to 6″ designs. Tabs help to acknowledge that an orifice plate is “in the line” and are engraved to indicate the hole diameter. Where not to use a Tabbed Platinum cured silicone orifice plate gasket
Not suitable for extremely low temperatures – it doesn’t keep it’s cool like as well as a PTFE gasket.
