Tuf-Steel® gaskets are composed of a unique 50/50 blend of non-pigmented PTFE and 316L passivated and atomized stainless steel making it the most bad-ass gasket around!
Tuf-steel® gaskets are used widely in the pharmaceutical, biotech, food, dairy, beverages and all other sanitary process industries to seal clamp connections in sanitary pipelines.
Where are Tuf-Steel® gaskets used?
Tuf-Steel® is ideal for extreme temperature applications, such as steam, hot oil and friers, where temperatures range from -350°F to 550°F. Unlike traditional solid PTFE and PTFE envelope-style gaskets, Tuf-Steel ® does not revert, eliminating creep and cold flow, resulting in a leak-free seal.
